Our clients, with the help of their builder - Red Oak
Construction, built a modified version of Architectural Designs Modern
Farmhouse Plan 16909WG on their rear sloping property in North Carolina. They made
modifications with their builder to streamline the design to save on
construction costs. The changes they made were bringing several of the bump-outs
flush, eliminated the window dormer over the pantry/hallway, relocated the
laundry into the master WIC and connected it to the garage entry hall, replaced
fireplaces with pellet stove, reversed the living and dining area, eliminated
the 3rd bedroom in the rear while adding windows to convert the space
into an open den. They also opted to finish the bonus room and add a half bath,
turning the space into a comfortable quilting studio. Ready when you are! Where
are YOU going to build?
